Peter’s parents were Barbara Aachen (née Baecker, *1909 +1994) and Johann Aachen (*1908 +1973). Johann or Hans Aachen worked in the horticulture sector and later on the West-Friedhof graveyard. Peter Aachen had a younger sister Mia (Maria). After the war, she emigrated to the US.
Franziska Aachen, née Horsch, was the daughter of Christian Horsch (1904 +1965, railroad worker at the Reichsbahn railway, politically left orientated) and Kaethe Horsch (née Netz, *1907 +1956 ). She had 5 siblings.
For Hans Aachen there remained some fotos, from an orphanage (9th person from the left in the top row) and from his later working life. The next four fotos are probably from 1926, including one foto taken in the Flora.
