Living in the so-called “Randsiedlung“ (suburb) Vogelsang meant living with the neighbours around. Whenever something had to be celebrated (birthdays, anniversaries, weddings or silver wedding anniversaries) it happened together with the people next door. Part of the family of Franziska was also a dog called Asta.
